Informatics International reaches the SEI CMM Level 4
Colombo February 18th, 2005. Informatics International Limited (IIL) today announced that they have been assessed by TUV Rheinland Ltd., an independent assessor, at Level 4 of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI), Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA.
This signifies that IIL has a defined, documented and stable process for software development and maintenance. It also signifies that the measures to monitor, control and improve the process are in place as well.

This assessment affirms that IIL is among the few software engineering companies in the world that have been successfully assessed to have a capability level 4. Less than 15% of assessed companies satisfy the Level 4 and above process area requirements.
