The Informatics Institute of Technology`s 14th convocation was held at the BMICH to honour graduates who earned degrees from the University of Westminister, UK, The Informatics Institute of Technology is the pioneer in offering British degrees in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the University of Westminister. This occasion marks the culmination of four years of hard study and is the pinnacle of the student`s program. The four years includes one year of industrial placement which is definitely an advantage.
The degree were awarded by Prof Ricky Morgan, pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Westminister, and the Sri-Lankan based graduates will have their names registered along with the other graduates in Westminister. The most popular degrees offered are BSc (Hons) in information Systems with business Management and Masters degree in Advanced Software Engineering.
