Google Apps forges stronger ties with Informatics

World renowned Google Apps invited Informatics-Sri Lanka to extend its co-operation to make the clientele and students of Informatics more responsive about Google services.

Google Australia Enterprise Sales Representative, Anna Smith Cortez met officials of Informatics Holdings Limited, led by Group Managing Director, Hiran Wickramasinghe recently at Informatics premises.

“We are always willing to network with you and get your feedbacks and responses, because as a front player in IT industry of Sri Lanka, you all know where the country is heading towards and what your clients’ needs are,” said Anna.

Hiran described how Informatics as a diversified IT company, caters to strategic business units in the areas such as software development and systems integration, joint ventures for off-shore software development and in IT education.

As an information technology (IT) company with a backing of nearly three decades of experience, Informatics had gained a prominent place in providing high standard IT solutions in immigration, insurance and telecommunication industries especially in the Pacific region. They discussed how Informatics as an educational institute has contributed to Google with brilliant software engineers and about advantages and specifications in Google Apps concerning business and education.

Authorized reseller of Google Apps for Sri Lanka, Clehan Pulle invited Informatics to join hands with the case study prepared by him about utilizing of Google Apps all round in Sri Lanka.

Google Apps is a service from Google providing independently customizable versions of several Google products under a custom domain name. It features several Web applications with similar functionality to traditional office suites, including Gmail, Google Groups, Google Calendar, Talk, Docs and Sites. (NK)
