Informatics Group of Sri Lanka wins Diebold Nixdorf APAC’s ‘Highest Business Volume Award’

The Informatics Group of Sri Lanka, a renowned IT Product & software company with 35 years of experience in the industry.

The company received the “Highest Business Volume Award” for the second consecutive year at the Diebold Nixdorf APAC Partner meeting held in Sentosa, Singapore this year.

Their team obtained this award by being the best achiever in sales for Diebold Nixdorf branded ATM’s and Cash Recyclers in the APAC region, namely-Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Brunei, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Bangladesh.

Today the Informatics Group provides IT solutions for businesses in Sri Lanka and in several Asian, African and Pacific regions.

Since its inception in 1983, the company – the brainchild of Dr. Gamini Wickramasinghe, has developed and expanded to 400+ employees and now consists of Informatics Private Limited (Banking), Informatics International Limited (Software & Systems Integration), Agro Tech Limited (Agriculture), Informatics Institute of Technology (Tertiary Education).

Informatics became a distributor of ‘Nixdorf Computers’ in 1983 and thus far the most long-standing partner, continuing to serve Sri Lankan banks as a prominent ATM solutions and service delivery partner with close to 4000 touch points across the island.

The team promptly caters to the post sales needs of its clients and provides an all island engineering assistance with 24/7 support. As well, Informatics introduced Diebold Nixdorf cash recyclers for real-time cash deposits and withdrawals in Sri Lanka.

Last year, Informatics Group received the ‘Outstanding Revenue Achievement Award’ in recognition of the ‘Highest Shipments and Revenue Achievement’ in 2016 at the Diebold Nixdorf APAC Partner meeting.
